Unfortunately the system won’t allow changing the date on bookings in the past because it can cause an accounting issue, as you must reflect accurately the transactions made in your business.
For example, if a customer made a reservation last year and paid for it, that revenue has already been reflected in your 2020 sales report. If we allow you to change that booking made and paid last year, for today, the system would reflect that income today.
Here is when the accounting issue occurs and that is the reason why the error “This booking has been committed to your Profit and Loss, and therefore cannot be moved” may appear.
The best way to change the participant from one date to another date is:
1.Cancel the booking in the past without refund.
2. Make a new booking for the new date with 100% discount.
