These customisations require you to have:
1. Set up your multi-activity booking flow, by following the instructions here and
2. Tailored your products, by following the instructions here
Single Date Selector
As standard, the multi-activity booking flow will allow you to select a date for each product. If you want to restrict customers so that bookings can only be made on the same date, you can do so by applying the Single Date selector, which will move the date picker from each product to the top of the page below the header.
Follow these steps to enable this feature on MAF:
- Go to the Site BookNow Setup file in SF.
- Search for the field called “Single Date Selection” and check the ☑️ box to enable (Uncheck if you want to disable this feature)
The single date selector will then be revealed on your multi activity flow:
Grouping and Filtering of Products
Follow these steps to enable this feature on MAF:
- Go to the Site BookNow Setup file in SF.
- Search for the field called “Product Grouping Style” and select “Filter Selection” from the pick list. (Select None if you want to disable this feature)
- If you don’t have any grouping set up already, you will see only the group called “All” on the MAF UI where you will all available products in that site
Follow these steps if you would like to add a product to the group:
- Go to “Bookable Products” in Command.
- Select any product you wish to add to the group.
- Edit the product.
- Look for a field called “Online Group” on the product details screen.
- You can either type the name of the group you wish to add or search for an existing group.
- Click “Next.”
- Go to MAF, and you will see the product in the newly created group.
Login
Allow customers to create an account or login so that they don’t have to enter full registration details each time and members can view and select member only products. Member only products are only visible when a user is logged in.
Follow these steps to enable this feature on MAF:
- Go to the Site BookNow Setup file in SF.
- Search for the field called “Enable Login & Signup” and check the ☑️ box to enable (Uncheck if you want to disable this feature)
- Go to MAF to see the feature:
- Click Login to make a booking as an existing user or new user
- You should be able to make a booking with all 3 accounts (Guest, New account, Existing user)
