Product Builder

Now that you have had your training call about the Product Builder, please feel free to use this guide as a reference point for your onboarding journey. 
The Product Builder is a tool to help create booking products within your environment, for your customers to book and purchase. Here we will walk through the different aspects, to create a bookable product. 
  • To access the Product Builder, click into the 9 dots in the top left hand corner and search for Product Builder. Alternatively you can select the Product Builder tab if visible at the top of your screen. This will load a new page, and this is the space in which your booking products will be created. 
  • There will be a “New” button in the top right hand corner of the screen, press here to begin creating a product. 
  • A new screen will now appear, and will automatically display the date and time as the name of the product. To update this, underneath the subheading Product Name, please type the name of the product within the text box. You may have noticed that there isn’t a save button, as the page will automatically save, when a field is updated. 
  • To create a description of the product there are two options of which you can choose to utilise. The short description text box will provide a space for up to a maximum of 255 characters. Alternatively  you can use the full description text box, which provides a space for a more detailed description. Some sites like to use both fields, for a more accurate breakdown of the product and its contents.
  • Underneath the description text boxes, there is a hidden area called Advanced Section. The advanced section can be selected to show the options inside. Within here you can specify the order the products are shown, the tax, and price too. 
  • Next to create would be a schedule. The schedule provides a timeline of when the product can be booked. For example if the product is only available on a Saturday 9am-10pm, you can create this. Select New next the subheading Schedule, a pop up box will appear on screen and type in the name you would like to use for this schedule. This has now been created and sits underneath the Schedule subheading. Click View/Edit underneath the schedule name, and a pop up calendar will appear. In the top right hand corner there is a drop down
